As in Bordeaux these grape varieties grow very well in the Margaret River region. This wine is youthful and exuberant and will age extremely well for many years. The colour is a distinctive dark blood red ruby. The aromas are a delightfully perfumed combination of black cherries, plums, blackcurrant, cigar box, new leather and mingled smoky oak. A great balance of bright fruit, savory complexity and integrated oak. On the palate generous flavours of ripe dark fruits, with layers of savory notes are revealed. The tannin profile is precise and linear, providing a long dry length.
