As in Bordeaux these grape varieties grow very well in the Margaret River region. This wine is youthful and exuberant and will age extremely well for many years. The colour is a distinctive dark blood red ruby. The aromas are a delightfully perfumed combination of black cherries, plums, blackcurrant, cigar box, new leather and mingled smoky oak. A great balance of bright fruit, savory complexity and integrated oak. On the palate generous flavours of ripe dark fruits, with layers of savory notes are revealed.
