Grapes - Red

This dense, sophisticated Gearbox red wine is a blend of 84% Pinot Noir and 16% Petite Syrah and boastfully over-delivers aromas of fresh strawberries, wild raspberries, and spicy cherry cola. The bold, yet resolved palate has a clean, well-balanced acidity that ties up neatly with a complementary cream and caramel finish. This wine display aromas of sun dried cherry tart, cinnamon, rose petals and red rock candy, backed by notes of graphite and black tea. The delicate aromas follow through to the flavours with the addition of dried cranberry with a soft finish.

This Gearbox red wine is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petite Sirah. The vibrant layers of red and black fruit mingle with hints of violet, dried herbs and black licorice. The flavours echo the aromas, with lovely black currant and licorice lelments supported by soft tannins and an excellent structure.

This Red Wine is a blend of 34% Monastrell, 33% Syrah and 33% Merlot grapes. The Red Wine has cherry red, black strawberry aroma, black pepper, Cocoa, tobacco, and barbecue.

This Tempranillo Premier has an intense purple/red colour. The scent of ripe fruits with the distinctly noticeable presence of red berries. The smooth and deep tannins give this delightful red wine a powerful and long finish on the palate.

As the name suggests, Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG is made from the Barbera grape variety (90-100%), with the permitted addition of local red grapes (0-10%). This is a Ruby red wine which turns to garnet red with age. The scent is intense and characteristic with a tendency to become more ethereal with age. The taste is dry and become more mellow with age while the wine is more full-bodied, harmonious and pleasant.

This Syrah Reserva wine is a true reflection of the best of the Casablanca valley. The magnificent fruit with which it is made gives it a great concentration and intensity of flavours that stand out. To achieve this the winery selected the best grapes from the vineyards and vinified carefully in addition to the six months in oak barrels.
