This Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon has excellent varietal character with intense blackcurrant aroma and hints of regional bay leaf and quality oak. The palate is medium bodied with good depth of black forest fruits and a grip of fine tannins. Beautifully balanced with superb length. Drink beautifully now or within 5-7 years.

The Shiraz fruit for this wine was carefully selected from the best old vines in the Barossa Valley. It was de-stemmed and fermented in open fermentors with pump overs twice daily before resting in French Oak Hogshead barrels for 2 years before bottling. Concentrated and opulent aromas of blackberry, plum, black cherry and cassis burst from the glass with fervour. These wonderful aromatics carry through to a supple and velvety palate with beautifully balanced acidity which give the wine a vibrant energy. Black fruit characters abound on the palate, backed by spice, dark chocolate, licorice and oak. This wine shows perfect tension between ripe fruit, bright acidity and a smooth seductive tannins that provide wonderful length. Enjoy now or cellar for up to 10 years.

This NERO Cabernet Sauvignon is very dry on the nose, but yet so gentle and elegant on the palate. Quite rich with oak and with dark cherry notes mixed with raspberry, tobacco and jazzy granny smith apple. A superb dry red wine with distinctive earthen flavours, marked tannins and plenty of finesse.
